Why the name
In the early years of the American space programme, mathematicians at NASA Langley did the calculations that put people into orbit. They went largely unrecognised for decades, and they were the first to do work that others have followed ever since. The film Hidden Figures told their story. In one scene, John Glenn will not fly until Katherine Johnson has checked the numbers. That flight made three orbits of the Earth, and it gave us our name. It stands for what we want to do for the companies we work with: put the people who know an industry best at the front of it, and make sure they are credited for it.
How we work
- Start from the problem
We begin with what your people do and why, and let the technology follow.
- Leave the capability behind
If you cannot change and run the workflow without us, we have not done the job.
- Say what we do not know
We separate what we have tested from what we believe, and tell you which is which.
